California Smash and Grab Looting Continues; Home Depot and Bottega Veneta Hit on Black Friday

Image
In Lakewood, a group of suspects ages 15 to 20 stormed a Home Depot store around 8:30 p.m. and grabbed tools such as crowbars, mallets and sledgehammers before getting away in vehicles that were waiting outside, FOX 11 of Los Angeles reported. One entire section of hammers was completely cleared out, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies told the station. As many as 10 vehicles pulled up outside the store and the thieves donned ski masks before launching their spree, KCBS-TV of Los Angeles reported. The theft prompted fears that the stolen tools would be used to commit more robberies at other stores in the area, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the station. Also Friday, in the Beverly Grove section of Los Angeles, a large group entered a Bottega Veneta store and used pepper spray against some who tried to stop them while grabbing high-end merchandise there, the station reported. Government Picking Criminals Over Public Safety- The Life Story of the Accused Waukesha Christmas Parade Killer

Image
MILWAUKEE — The man who turned a quaint, small town Christmas parade into a blood-soaked nightmare that left six dead and over 60 injured is a career criminal who’s spent more than half of his life trapped in a revolving door of incarceration, drug abuse and violence. Darrell Brooks, 39, allegedly used a red Ford Escape to plow through revelers at an annual Christmas celebration in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on Sunday, but his life of crime started 22 years ago when he was just 17 years old.   Over the next two decades, Brooks would proceed to wreak havoc across three states as he racked up convictions for abusing his partners, raping and impregnating a teenager and a consistent streak of other violent crimes.  A review of his history — patched together from court documents, criminal records, interviews and public records — reveals that all along the way, not a single social safety net caught him, until it was too late.   The cycle of tragedy  Brooks was just 11 years old when he was diagn

Hannity- Bail Reform Has Been Catastrophic for America

Image
SEAN HANNITY, FOX NEWS HOST:  Welcome to HANNITY. And tonight, coming up, a major announcement at the end of the show. But, first, we begin with this weekend's terrible news. Waukesha, Wisconsin, is now reeling only one day after a violent career criminal plowed his SUV into a Christmas parade killing five and injuring dozens more, including multiple children. Yesterday at around 4:30 p.m., 39-year-old, quote, aspiring rapper Darrell Brooks was allegedly fleeing the scene of a domestic dispute when he drove his red Ford SUV past police barriers at a high rate of speed and onto a parade route ultimately hitting more than 40 men, women and children. Only 48 hours earlier, Brooks posted a one thousand dollar cash bond and was released from jail after assaulting the mother of his children and -- get this -- attempting to run her over with his car. Defund, dismantle the police, no bail, low bail -- how is all of this working out for the country? That's right. He tried to run over hi

Let's go back to the right way.  Watch the latest video at foxnews.com To see more CLICK HERE .

Apple Store Latest California Victim of Smash and Grab by Organized Crime

Image
A Northern California Apple store was targeted by thieves Wednesday in the latest smash-and-grab theft as mobs continue to commit brazen burglaries on retail shops in several U.S. cities.  Four suspects walked into the Apple store just after 11:30 a.m. in Santa Rosa, 55 miles north of San Francisco, and stole more than $20,000 worth of merchandise in broad daylight in front of customers and staff, authorities said.  They fled in a vehicle and ranged in age from 14 to 18 years old, the Santa Rosa Police Department said. They were wearing black clothing and masks.  The incident follows similar burglaries involving dozens of suspects that have ransacked numerous stores in the Bay Area and Los Angeles.  Hours after the Apple burglary, five suspects in Los Angeles stole about $25,000 worth of merchandise from a Nordstrom inside the Westfield Topanga mall and used bear spray on a security guard. On Monday, another Nordstrom at a popular shopping and entertainment complex east of downtown L

NYPD Officer Rips Judge Who Freed Attacker Without Bond After Attacking Another Cop: 'Insane'

Image
A veteran NYPD officer is outraged that the man who nearly stabbed him to death in 2008 was freed without bail Sunday for an attack on another cop. Isus Thompson, 38, is accused of randomly assaulting Officer Kyo Sun Lee in the Bronx, approaching him from behind and smashing him over the head with a metal safe that was inside a backpack, according to prosecutors. But Judge Audrey Stone released him without bail on six charges including felony assault — despite a prior attempted murder conviction for the brutal ambush of Raptis, court records show. "It's insane," Raptis said. "I'm angry. These judges are letting these people go and they’re violent. They’re not looking out for us or the people that we serve. They’re looking out for the criminals." The Queens cop caught Thompson smoking weed in a playground inside a Forest Hills park June 6, 2008, and escorted him to his cruiser, where he told him to put his hands on the hood. "That’s when he just turned

Progressive Arrogance on Bad Bail Reform Creates Deadly Result

Image
It’s hard to beat the arrogance of Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm, who actually admitted back in 2007 that his low-bail policies would someday see a beneficiary “go out and kill somebody.” Though “it’s guaranteed to happen,” he argued, “it does not invalidate the overall approach.” Ouch. That has to be cold comfort to the survivors of the Dancing Grannies and others slain in the attack on the Waukesha Christmas parade, including little Jackson Sparks. Chisholm’s concession that the $1,000 cash bond given Darrell Brooks just days before Sunday’s parade carnage was “inappropriately low” won’t help, either. But his arrogance is rivaled by Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Carolyn Maloney and Jamie Raskin, who just wrote the five city district attorneys demanding answers on “excessive bail” supposedly trapping innocents on Rikers. The three congressfolk seem unaware that Rikers’ population is at its lowest in decades (other than after the early releases when COVID hit) than

There's a Backlash Brewing Against Bail Reform After The Parade Tragedy in Waukesha

Image
Darrell E. Brooks, Jr., has become the poster boy for the backlash against bail reform. The 39-year-old faces at least six counts of homicide for allegedly driving his maroon Ford Escape through a holiday parade in Waukesha, Wisc. on Sunday evening — only two weeks after being released on $1,000 cash bail for another act of vehicular aggression, in which he allegedly ran over a woman during an altercation. "FREED DEMON" is how the tabloid New York Post cover headline put it on Tuesday, along with an editorial titled "Deadly result of progressive arrogance on bail reform." Conservative analysts are pointing fingers at John Chisholm, the District Attorney of Milwaukee County, where the earlier incident happened. Chisholm, who took office in 2007, has been identified with the recent wave of "reformist prosecutors" who pledge to reduce incarceration and pre-trial detention — which can mean lower bail. * * * * Besides the cash bail, Brooks' Nov. 5 release

Dorchester Murderer Set Free Amid Pandemic Is Accused of Boston Road Rage Stabbing

Image
A Dorchester murderer who was set free last year amid the coronavirus pandemic is now accused of stabbing a man during a Boston road rage clash. Joseph Irizarry Sr., 41, who was on parole from a murder conviction stemming from a 2000 gang-related shooting in Lawrence, is now facing charges in connection with last week’s stabbing in the area of Boylston Street and Charlesgate East. Massachusetts State Police troopers at 7:37 p.m. last Wednesday responded to the Bowker Overpass following a stabbing during a road rage incident. A 59-year-old man suffered a knife wound to his abdomen during the confrontation. Police determined that the victim was in a vehicle with a relative when a blue GMC Acadia, coming from the direction of Massachusetts Avenue, ran a red light and almost struck the victim’s vehicle. The vehicles stopped prior to the intersection of the Bowker Overpass and Boylston Street, where the driver of the Arcadia, later identified as Irizarry, and the victim and his relative b

Organized Crime Expands To LA Targeting Nordstroms; 8th Smash And Grab in a Week

Image
A looting gang have targeted an LA Nordstrom, making off with eight luxury handbags and assaulting a cop - the latest in a string of smash-and-grab raids to plague California.  Five people, one wearing an orange wig, entered the open store in Canoga Park shortly before 7pm on Wednesday and sprayed a security guard with 'some kind of chemical' in front of terrified shoppers, police said. The thieves sped off and managed to escape with thousands of dollars worth of handbags despite multiple police cruisers, as well as fire trucks and ambulances, responding to the raid. It is the eighth smash-and-grab robbery in California in the last week where thieves have made off with tens of thousands of dollars in luxury goods, amid soft misdemeanor theft laws in the Democrat-run state.  Around 20 robbers smashed their way into a Nordstrom at The Grove retail complex in LA on Monday night, making off with $5,000 worth of merchandise; and a CVS pharmacy in the city was struck just an hour l

NYC Mayor Elect Promises To Appoint Tougher Judges Amid NYC Bail-Reform Debate

Image
Mayor-elect Eric Adams promised Wednesday that his judicial appointments overseeing criminal arraignments in the Big Apple will be far more willing to test the limits of the state’s controversial bail reform laws. Adams made the promise during an appearance on “The View,” where he was repeatedly pressed on recent high profile cases where repeat offenders were returned to communities only to be quickly rearrested after allegedly committing yet another crime. “I appoint criminal court judges and I’m going to be extremely clear: If you don’t understand that my city must be safe, and you can’t get caught up in the politics in this city,” Adams said on the ABC show. “And you must make sure that those who pose an imminent threat to our city — they are not going to be placed back on my streets and back into my community,” he said. When asked if he had the authority to do that as mayor, Adams doubled down: “That’s the power of appointing the right judges.” As mayor, Adams has the power to appo

Working-Class People Of Color Hate The Riots The Lefty Elite Keeps Cheering

Image
When Americans fight about race or culture, the fight is almost always really about social class. And that shows up in today’s discussions about riots and policing. The Daily Caller recently sent a video correspondent to Brooklyn Center, Minn., scene of many police-shooting-related riots, and to Washington, DC, home of America’s ruling class, and asked people in both places when and if rioting was justified. The answers differed sharply. In Brooklyn Center, where the destruction was visible firsthand, respondents (nearly all black men of various ages) overwhelmingly opposed rioting. An African-American man in an “Army Veteran” hat commented: “We’re human, and we want to be treated with respect,” but we also need to show “respect.” A man in construction gear remarked: “I guarantee you the people that were looting, nine times out of 10, weren’t from this area. . . . If you feel the need to lash out, then don’t get mad when people, you know, address you as a looter or a rioter.” A woman i
