For Law Enforcement Every Day is Groundhog Day- Arrest Career Criminal, Charge, Release, Repeat!

 



On August 15th, police arrested 31-year-old Jonathan Welch of Arundel and charged him with domestic violence criminal threatening, domestic violence terrorizing, and unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs.

Welch was later released on bail.

On September 4, police say officers responded to the same home on Bears Den Road for a domestic disturbance.

Welch was arrested again and charged with tampering with a victim, violation of conditions of release, domestic violence terrorizing and criminal mischief.

During the investigation, police then found 157 grams of cocaine, 391 grams of fentanyl, 169 grams of methamphetamine, a handgun, and over $3,000 in cash.
