Tenn.- Bad Bail Reform Allows Man to Go Free on Drug and Gun Charges




 

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Tennessee man on Tuesday after he was found in possession of methamphetamines, a semi-automatic pistol, and a dagger.  He was originally stopped for a traffic infraction on Albany Avenue in Kingston on the afternoon of March 1.

Ryan Roberson, a 39-year-old resident of Chatanooga, Tennessee was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and misdemeanors of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia.

He was arraigned on the charges and released with an appearance ticket for a future court date.
